Marco_Possanzini _designer

He was born in Piacenza -Italy-in 1979.
He was graduated in “Industrial Design” at the "Politecnico di Milano - Facoltà del Design” obtaining specialization in “Engineering of industrial product”.
Afterwards he had been working for several years in “DRIADE S.p.a Co.” becoming a member of a technical office, charged to research and develop new methods of project related to different kinds of production. In this position he had the opportunity to meet an Aristocratic Vision of Housing carried out with products projected and recognized by most famous international designers belonging to different project philosophies.
He worked on projects with legendary art icons such as Philippe Starck, Ron Arad, Tokujin Yoshioka, Eugenie Quittlet, Fabio Novembre , Xavier Lust , Oscar Tusquets in the contemporary industrial world of designing.
With these experiences, he had the chance to fuse different artistic conceptions in the accomplishment of house furniture.
Subsequently animated by project expertise, not only for a single object of design, he began a new experience in the well known SCHIFFINI S. p.a. Co., where he took care both in projecting for kitchen zone for houses and yachts of big dimensions and for living rooms.
In order to improve his experience, he works, as responsible, in a company recently constituted with the aim to enter in the furniture market.
Currently he also works as a project manager with the Italian architect "Luca Corradi" to project high quality residential and commercial spaces using the latest available 3d modelling techologies.
He follows the entire process of project development from concept to final realization.

Work experience

Driade s.p.a.– Fossadello di Caorso , Piacenza
Employee of the technical department “research and development”. Draft of technical drawings and 3D models of the products realized by means of various productive technologies. Collaboration with international designers, approaching European, USA, Chinese, Indian and Japanese modalities of design and teams. Cooperation with designers and suppliers during all the study phase of the project up to its mass production or production made by hand. Quality control of the products by means of measurement tools with subsequent report to be sent to the supplier of the product claimed. Organisation of showrooms Driade and trade fairs.

Architecture Studio Luca Corradi- Parma
Collaboration with an architect for the construction of interior projects. I'm responsible for managing the project from start to finish.
Creation of drawings and rendering by graphics software and 3D modeling for the presentation and implementation of projects.
We carry out projects for residential and contract use.

Lotus Italdesign – Piacenza
Employed by the emerging company in the field of complementary furniture. Head of development product. Designer of the new collections of products of which I am also the development and contact with various suppliers.
Designing and creating furnishings through the use of modeling software three-dimensional.
Design and construction of exhibition stands at events in which the company participates.

Schiffini cucine s.p.a., Ceparana – La Spezia
Direct contact with clients in various showrooms of La Spezia, Genoa. Parma: development of projects of kitchens and of interior design.
Use of CAD systems for the design and representation of the projects for the client.
Draft of technical drawings for the production of various electric and hydraulic systems.
Measurement and photographic surveys at the client’s house. Assistance during the assembling of the kitchens.
